Kalanjar Valley Trail
Kalanjar Valley Trail
It was a pleasant Sunday morning, 19 October, 2025 when about 62 enthusiastic hikers gathered at Kalanjar Village to explore the unexplored Kalanjar Valley Trail, an exclusive adventure organized by the Islamabad Club Hiking Committee.
Young and old, men and women, boys and girls — all joined together in the spirit of adventure and camaraderie. As the sun rose over the Margalla Hills, the group set off along a lush green trail — wide, smooth, and beautifully maintained by the Wildlife Department. The winding path led through dense greenery, offering breathtaking views of the hills and the surrounding areas.
At the stunning Pinhrias Fountain, everyone was delighted to spot crabs in the crystal-clear waters — a rare and charming sight. It was a treat to sit beside the natural waterfall, listening to the mesmerizing sounds of flowing water surrounded by the freshness of nature.
Hikers cheered and lifted their spirits, singing patriotic songs and chanting “Pakistan Zindabaad!” as their voices echoed through the valley. The air was filled with joy, laughter, and pride. Many hikers captured the moment through their cameras, eager to preserve the unmatched beauty of this hidden valley.
Guided by the Wildlife Department team, the hike was safe, memorable, and full of discovery — a perfect morning spent celebrating nature, friendship, and the spirit of natural beauty of Islamabad.
