Islamabad Club Cyclists’ Unique Celebration of Fathers’ Day 2025

The 22nd Family Bicycle Ride was organised by the Cycling Committee on June 15, the Fathers Day. The cyclists group comprised riders as young as 15 years and as old as 66 years and included ladies. The ride started at 5:30 in the morning from Club West Side and went through Shakarprian National Park riding on the scenic Garden Avenue. On the way, Lok Virsa’s entrance provided a lovely backdrop for a photograph. The group than rode off to Faisal Mosque via Islamabad Expressway/ Faisal Avenue stopping at Faisal Mosque. Faisal Mosque, as always provided a welcome stop for cyclists to catch the breath and regroup.


Despite a relatively hot weather, the group rode at at reasonable pace to the Constitution Avenue and onward to the Club via Srinagar Highway using the new entrance to and u-turn on Srinagar Highway. All in all it was a good ride that everyone enjoyed.


The ride culminated in a combined breakfast at the Cricket Pavilion and on top of it Fathers’ Day cake cutting jointly making it an even more memorable event.
