Saturday Family Hiking 21 June 2025- Trail 4
With early monsoon season setting in, the hiking on slippery trails becomes riskier. Initially notified for Sunday June 22, the plan was revised to a day earlier in view of expected downpour on the original date.
Islamabad Club Hikers, with right planning of the Hiking Committee were able to enjoy the lush green empty trail 4 and discovered the hidden beauty of the winding paths and heavenly views of Islamabad on the longest day of the year.
Despite slight drizzle, 11valiant hikers of Islamabad Club Hiking group gathered at 5:30 am at Pir Sohawa Road. The rain stopped as predicted and the weather turned pleasant providing a relief from heat. A warm up drill was led by Ms Areej Faisal, our Hiking Committee member. The hikers marched off taking the route Chak Jabbi and Talhar more. Rain enhanced the colours of the landscape making the green surrounding even brighter.
Our valiant hiker tackled the muddy trail well. The trail was rather challenging for some due to humid weather. All the hikers reached the Selfie Point to witness the spectacular views of Islamabad and to join the national song.
Most of the hikers along with their family members enjoyed a well deserving breakfast at the main hall Islamabad Club.
Our next hiking plan will be announced in due course of time.
