Sunday Family Hiking 1 June 2025- Hybrid Trail 3/Trail 5

On June 1, 2025 at 5:30 am 41 members of the Islamabad Club Hiking group enjoyed a hike through combined Trail 3 and Trail 5 in Margalla Hills. This hybrid rout offered a mix of relatively flat route of trail 3, gentle slopes of Trail 5 and scenic views of both the trails to create a unique and engaging experience.

The congregation included all ages and genders- children, teenagers, young and old, male and female. The weather was particularly and exceptionally pleasant.

The warm up drill led by the Hiking Committee members set the tone for the hikers to move on and explore the flora and fauna and the lush greenery of the hybrid track. Throughout the walk, the hikers enjoyed the music of the habitat: sounds of rustling leaves, the bird’s call, the gentle whistling of the streams, the chirping of the monkey and the quietness of the crawling insects. The hikers took breaks to capture the serenity of the hiking trails.

After a 2 km easy ascend, the hikers reached the first spring of trail 5 where everyone joined the signing of national song.

This amazing hike of two hours culminated at Trail 3 parking. Some of hikers along with their family members enjoyed breakfast at Islamabad Club.
