Islamabad Club is proud to share the remarkable victory of Club senior Tennis playing members, Mr. Tariq Murtaza and Mr. Tufail Cheema at the ITF Masters Cup in Dubai in Feb 2025. The Pakistani duo dominated the tournament with exceptional performances, securing the 1st place with a 4-0 record.
Both the gentlemen won their matches against strong opponents, including a 7-5, 6-3 win over India's Mridul Barka Koti and Surinder Sharma in the quarterfinals, and a 6-2, 6-7, 10-5 victory in the semifinals against India's George Thomas and Sukumaran Veettil winning the final against their Polish and Romanian opponents Marian Mocon and Danut Sturzoiu. Their outstanding teamwork and skill truly made Pakistan proud!
