Family Bicycle Ride – Now Weekly Fun!

On the 15th of February, a bright, sunny Saturday dawned on the Islamabad Club Cycling Hub, seeing eager cyclists gathering for the Family Bicycle Ride. Rental bicycles were available for those not having their own. A total of 18 riders were at the starting point, including 3 ladies. After a brief safety announcement the riders set off at 8:20 a.m.

With an Outrider ahead and the Club Support Vehicle at the rear, they headed towards Chand Tara monument from where they went through the picturesque Shakarparian National Park, past the Lok Virsa Heritage Museum, over the H-8 / I-8 flyover towards Zero Point and then Faisal Masjid. From there, traversing 7th Avenue and Garden Avenue, the ride ended back at the Club. Total distance was 23km.
